Trinity “purls” (Knit/Crochet Group) – Opportunity to be a part of a group who provide “prayer shawls” for pastoral ministry. This is also a great time for fellowship and creating your own handcrafted creations. Contact Mari Baker at 586.751.5448
 
 
Barnabas Ministry – is a personal one-on-one ministry to individuals who need encouragement, due to all of a number of situations in life. Coordinated and overseen by Pastor Hoft. Contact him at 586.463.2921 x104
 
 
Care Corps – is a group of volunteers who provide transportation, minor repairs, and other forms of tangible help for people in need. For more information contact Mary DeRidder at 586.783.4993
 
 
MCREST– is an on-going rotating shelter for homeless people within the Macomb County area. Trinity has been involved since its beginning, offering the week surrounding Christmas as a time to house and care for individuals within the program.  A wide variety of gifts and skills can be put to use.  Click on the MCREST link for more information on our 2009 program.  Contact Rick Lynn at 586.781.5403
 
 
Hospital/In Home visitation – The Pastors and Elders currently visit regularly the sick and shut ins of Trinity. There is also opportunity for anyone who would like to be trained for such a ministry. Contact Pastor Hoft at 586.463.2921 x104 or Don Hartop at 586.463.5263
 
 
Grief Ministry – is another specialized ministry to individuals who have suffered the loss of a loved one through death. Currently, visitation and also an informative caring resource is shared with these individuals. There are plans to expand this ministry to involve a greater community emphasis. Food Pantry – is an on-going ministry that impacts hundreds of families with needed food and other items on a case by case basis. Food donations are always  needed – with specific opportunities once a month before worship. Extra assistance is needed for holiday packing and distribution. Salvation Army Meals – A Trinity team furnishes and prepares a complete lunch, every other month for about 70 people from the community.  For more information contact Adele Hartop 586.463.2921 x111
