Baptism Ministry
Families desiring to have an infant or young child baptized at Trinity are encouraged first of all to be worshiping with us. Second they must attend a three session baptism class.
- The class reviews our need for baptism; the role and how to choose godparents/sponsors; scheduling a baptism; how to nurture the newborn faith and a discussion and walk through of the baptism celebration used at Trinity.
- The baptism class is offered every other month, alternating between Sundays and a week night. The next set of classes will be on Tuesdays, Aug. 3, 10, 17, 7-8 PM.
- Infants baptized at Trinity become part of Strong Roots for Tender Shoots, an ongoing ministry in which parents periodically receive materials for three years to assist them as they “bring them (children) up in the training and instruction of the Lord.” (Ephesians 6:4 – NIV)
